I am Miriam Sossin, and I am obsessed with theatre’s ability to impact the way we understand ourselves and everything around us. I am an emerging playwright, director, and producer passionate about telling raw, heartfelt, and comedic stories. My directing practice centres lots of dramaturgical research, tons of analysis, and so so so much collaboration. I am fascinated by the way opposing feelings interact with each other, and search for opportunities to evoke these contradictory states of being in stories. How do we feel both sad and liberated, heartbroken and excited, light and heavy?
